Caring For ''Their'' World

We offer specific services for our residents who are living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia and other forms of memory impairment. These services require special licensing and special training, along with a tremendous amount of patience and understanding. Our fabulous caregivers strive to help their residents to live comfortably within "their" world, increase their quality of life and maintain their dignity.

On A Personal Level

When a resident is in our Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Program, our level of personal supervision increases in proportion to the level of cognitive ability. Our services include:

  • Recognizing the capabilities and identifying the needs of each individual.
  • Establishing an individual routine that keeps the resident within their comfort zone. (See Personal Routine .)
  • Allowing the resident to express themselves and live in their world. (Safety permitting.)
  • Monitoring proper nutrition and adequate hydration.
